The opening of its new office was warmly welcomed by Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen who is excited to see the job opportunities this investment will create. As the new office will be a centre for customer service and sales, toob’s decision to extend to the area was motivated by the local skill base across the region.

Stockton-on-Tees was the natural choice for a business with high customer service standards and a 4.6 rating on Trustpilot, and toob is keen to accelerate recruitment for the new site.

Mayor Houchen met with CEO Nick Parbutt and toob’s Stockton-on-Tees office employees to cut the official ribbon and enjoyed a full tour of the office where they heard about toob’s business and future plans.

The office opening comes off the back of a successful year for toob where, earlier this year, it secured £300m of funding alongside two recent award wins, including Best Urban Fibre Provider.

 As toob’s network build continues, their full-fibre technology will provide improved connections and greater choice for their customers. Full-fibre broadband benefits from a fibre optic cable run directly into homes, allowing its customers to access faster connection speeds and upload and download times.
