Local full-fibre broadband provider, toob, is offering a free trail and a visit from Santa at Locks Heath’s Christmas light switch-on event.

Local full-fibre broadband provider, toob, is spreading festive fun on Saturday 23rd November as part of the Christmas light switch on at Locks Heath Shopping Village. Located in Centre Way, Park Gate, SO31 6DX, the fun, free, all-day event will run between 9am until 5.45pm with Christmas market traders and street entertainment. 

Visitors can get in the full festive spirit with toob’s free Christmas trail, which will include a special appearance from Santa. There will also be the Snow Queen in a Globe who will appear alongside Jack Frost, and the Glow Juggler, Rob des Forges, who will amaze with a dextrous aerial spectacle. Performances on the day will include the Solent Glee Club Choir, Steppin Up, and The Titchfield Musical Theatre. With free parking available, the Christmas lights will illuminate at 5pm. It promises to be full of festive fun for the whole family 

Julie Carolan, Centre Manager, Locks Heath Shopping Village, said, “We are all delighted and extremely grateful to toob for organising a fantastic Christmas Tree Trail for people to enjoy on 23rd November. 

The trail is free of charge, alongside a meet and greet with toob’s very own Santa Claus. The event is the perfect Christmas kick-off for local children and their families.  

Not every family can afford to pay to see Santa so here at Locks Heath Shopping Village, with the support of toob, no-one need miss out on seeing Santa this year.”
