Aldershot are set to become one of the best-connected towns in the country thanks to Hampshire based broadband provider toob. Soon residents will be able to enjoy fast and reliable full-fibre broadband as toob commences the next stage in the deployment of its brand-new broadband network across the South of England.
Following a highly successful roll-out in Southampton and works starting in Camberley and Frimley, Aldershot is the fourth location where work has started in toob’s bold plan to open its network to more than a million premises. Residents in Aldershot should register their interest here to keep up to date with progress and be first to know when toob’s full-fibre broadband is available to order for their home.
To build the brand-new, full-fibre network which will deliver hyperspeed broadband to Aldershot, toob will be investing £9 million in local infrastructure, whilst working closely with Rushmoor Borough Council to maximise the benefits of the rollout to the local community and are also working on extending this to other parts of the borough. Build activity has started, with the first customers expected to be connected by the end of the year.
