Following the recent announcement that toob will be expanding its full-fibre network into a further 11 towns across Surrey and Hampshire, Camberley and Frimley are set to be next to benefit from next generation full-fibre broadband. toob‘s network roll out delivers download speeds 14x faster than the UK average and upload speeds 64x faster than the UK average (source: Ofcom’s UK home broadband performance report, May 2020). For just £25 per month, toob will be offering 900 Mbps upload and download speeds to residential customers with unlimited usage and no line rental charges, the most competitive consumer full-fibre broadband service in the UK.
toob will be investing £8m in Camberley and Frimley to build a brand-new full-fibre network to deliver faster, more reliable broadband to more than 20,000 premises by the end of 2022. toob is working closely with Surrey Heath Borough Council to maximise the benefits of the roll out to the local community. Build activity is due to start in spring 2021 with first customers connected by the end of the summer 2021. Thousands of customers in Southampton are already benefiting from the speeds and the increased reliability full-fibre broadband delivers. Camberley and Frimley residents and businesses should register their interest here to ensure they are kept up to date with toob’s roll out and are the first to know when toob is available to order.
